Welcome to MY World
Prologue,
to anyone and everyone who stumbled upon this page, I say the following words:
This website is permanently under construction. As pieces of the game world flow through my brain I sometimes get the intense urge to write stuff down, but even if I don't, more and more content is added, be it in my own mind.
I am running the 6th campaign to date in this game world, though if I count all the campaigns from the last 14 years, I'd need at least 2 extra pairs of hands to count them.
Roleplay is such a great part of my life, it sometimes scares me a little. Writing helps to calm my RPnerves, gives me a moment to breathe more steadily and not race across planes of ideas that are still in an embryonic state.
So if you're interested in what this is all about, feel free to explore and check the news once in a while to see whether I've added any content recently.

The setup for this project:
To create a fictional world of post medieval fantasy in which the gods play a central role and mages use their knowledge about magic to create all manner of devices to improve the quality of life for the people that inhabit the world. As many as eighteen different races inhabit the world, all once dreamt up by a Goddess from the dream realm. A lot of different cultures co-exist, some very multiracial, others with only little diversity. The Pantheon and the Gods’ respective followers play a pivotal role in how the world operates, for the Gods actively influence world events and global politics.
After the framework of the world is set-up I will frequently post stories online that take place in this world. Many interesting people will appear in these stories, all of them telling a different tale about the world and how it works, or fails to work in some cases.
Besides writing these short stories that are meant to color the world with the tales of those who inhabit it, I will also create a lot of background information about the places and people of this world.
In the end this world can be used as a platform from which others can create tales of adventure and destiny as well.
In fact I first created this world together with a co-writer, who helped me come up with some of the major forces in the world and together we bounced a lot of ideas back and forth, which have been partially written down already. It was always our intention to use this world to stage a roleplaying campaign. The world grew as we played out certain parts of its history with an experienced and dedicated group of players we have known for years. This story was played out using the Generic Universal Role Playing System as a means to set down rules about how the story would develop. Though we often divert from the rules to support engaging storytelling, the whole world should be usable as a campaign setting for GURPS when it is finished.
From my blog I will try to give a detailed lay out of the world from many different perspectives. Mostly the story will be told by an all knowing narrator, a perspective that may change into the personal as the story zooms in on the lives of some of the world’s inhabitants. I will try to link the informative bits with relevant tales about interesting figures that will give life to whatever it is you wish to know about this world of fantasy.
